Lâm Thị Ngọc Vàng
Case Manager
Onsite in Vietnam

Vàng serves as Case Manager at Con Tìm Mẹ, bringing deep empathy, dedication, and a profound sense of purpose to her work supporting families separated by war.
Born into a humble farming family in the Mekong Delta, Vàng is the second eldest of seven children. She began working at the age of fourteen to help care for her younger siblings, including one with cerebral palsy, putting her education on hold to support her family. In 2008, she was employed by Mỹ Hương Lê, now Executive Director of Con Tìm Mẹ, to assist with childcare and household responsibilities. While living with Mỹ Hương, Vàng was given the opportunity to resume her education and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu University.
Since 2016, Vàng has played a vital role in birth mother search efforts, initially as a volunteer and now formally as a Case Manager. Her work is guided by compassion, perseverance, and a deep commitment to helping others find truth, connection, and healing.
Vàng is also a devoted family person. She is happily married and the proud mother of two young children, finding joy and balance in both her personal and professional life.

In addition to her work with Con Tìm Mẹ, Vàng has been involved in property development since 2021 and currently manages rental accommodations for foreigners in Vũng Tàu. She is passionate about community service, education, supporting people with disabilities, and improving health outcomes in underserved communities.
